A wedding cake is the traditional cake served to the guests at a wedding breakfast, after a wedding. It is usually a large cake, multi-layered or tiered, and heavily decorated with icing, occasionally over a layer of marzipan or fondant, topped with a small statue representing the couple. Other common motifs include doves, gold rings and horseshoes, the latter symbolising good luck. Achieving a dense, strong cake that can support the decorations while remaining edible can be considered the epitome of the baker's art and skill.
Choosing a wedding cake is not as simple. If you want to do this right, you will need to plan four to six weeks before your wedding and start by collecting photographs of the style you like. Then, you will need to interview several cake designers, taste cakes, ask questions, and so on. This important decision shows your appreciation to your guests for sharing in your special day. To have a successful experience with your wedding cake. read more…

Cloning
Cloning is the process of creating an identical copy of something. In biology, it collectively refers to processes used to create copies of DNA fragments (molecular cloning), cells (cell cloning), or organisms. The term also encompasses situations, whereby organisms reproduce asexually.
Molecular cloning refers to the procedure of isolating a defined DNA sequence and obtaining multiple copies of it in vivo. Cloning is frequently employed to amplify DNA fragments containing genes, but it can be used to amplify any DNA sequence such as promoters, non-coding sequences and randomly fragmented DNA. It is utilised in a wide array of biological experiments and practical applications such as large scale protein production. Occasionally, the term cloning is misleadingly used to refer to the identification of the chromosomal location of a gene associated with a particular phenotype of interest, such as in positional cloning. In practice, localization of the gene to a chromosome or genomic region does not necessarily enable one to isolate or amplify the relevant genomic sequence. read more…….

About Natural hair
Natural hair, black hair, and afro-textured hair are terms used mainly by Western people of African descent to refer to the texture of African hair which has not been altered chemically (by perming, relaxing, straightening, bleaching or coloring). It should be noted though, that not all people of African descent have naturally afro-textured hair, including many North Africans. Adjectives such as “hard”, “kinky”, “nappy,” or “woolly” are also used to describe natural hair. This hair is typically tightly coiled and soft to the touch.
Afro-textured hair is common outside of Africa because of the African diaspora and because members of other ethnic groups have hair of a similar texture. Similar hair may also be found among Black Melanesians of the Pacific and Andaman Islands and among Negritos of Southeast Asia. Just as not all Africans have afro-textured hair, some Melanesians and non-Andamanese Negritos have loosely curled or even straight/wavy hair. read more….

Best Ways to Bring More Balance to Your Life
If you're living the typical life filled with stress then your life is out of balance. This is the case with most of us. We rush around each day trying to fulfill our roles at work and at home with scarcely any time to catch our breath. Life should be composed of a balance of work, play and rest but for many of us such a balance is a fantasy.
It may be difficult to find balance in a hectic world but there are ways to temporarily withdraw and relax. First of all, learn to make time for you. Each day we spend a good portion of our time doing things for other people, leaving our own needs to be placed on the back burner.
It is important that you resolve to make time for you. If you don't take care of yourself, you won't be able to care for others properly either when you're tired, irritable and out of balance. You need time to replenish yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. You need to have time to clear your head and relax. Even if you are not able to take a vacation or go away for a weekend retreat you can create your own mini vacation by finding a space in your home to be your own private retreat. read more…

Types of Sunglasses
Sunglasses are a visual aid, variously termed spectacles or glasses, which feature lenses that are coloured or darkened to prevent strong light from reaching the eyes.
Many people find direct sunlight too bright to be comfortable, especially when reading from paper in direct sunlight. In outdoor activities like riding, skiing and flying, the eye can receive more light than usual. It has been recommended to wear these kind of glasses whenever outside to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, which can lead to the development of a cataract.
Sunglasses have also been associated with celebrities and film actors primarily due to the desire to mask identity, but in part due to the lighting involved in production being typically stronger than natural light and uncomfortable to the naked eye. read more....

Prom Dresses
A prom, short for promenade or promotion, is used to describe a formal dance held at the end of the high school academic year. In the United Kingdom, the term is more widely understood to be in reference to a season of classical concerts or "proms", which have been held between July and September since 1811, today run by the BBC. The British synonym for the North American event would be Leavers Ball, or Leavers Dinner, closer to the Australian description (see below.) In Canada the terms Grad or Formal are most common and the event is usually only held for those in their graduating year of high school.
Boys usually dress in black tie (a dinner jacket and bow tie), sometimes with brightly colored cummerbunds or vests, though any sort of formal wear can be worn. Traditionally, girls gave boys matching boutonnieres to be worn on the tuxedos. Girls traditionally wear formal gowns or dresses adorned with a corsage given to them by their date. Often, boys and girls will dress according to the theme of the prom - e.g. pastel suits for a Miami Vice-themed prom.
Some high school students feel that prom is the most romantic night of their lives. They may go in a group that includes a person they have known for years; other times, students just try to find a date that they like. Many find it to be just as fun to attend with friends, not worrying about the dating aspect of the prom. The occurrence of inappropriate conduct and occurrence of violence or alcohol/drug abuse is common though discouraged. read more....

About Bikinis
A bikini or two-piece is a type of women's swimsuit, characterized by two separate parts one covering the breasts, the other the groin (and optionally the buttocks), leaving an uncovered area between the two garments. The shapes of both parts of a bikini closely resemble women's underwear, and the lower part of a bikini can therefore range from the more revealing thong or g-string to briefs and the more modest square-cut shorts.
Today, the bikini has become one of the most popularly worn and requested swimsuit styles. Fashion designers have created hundreds of variations to work with every body type and comfort level.
The history of Bikini
The modern history of the bikini begins in 1946 when the first bikini-style swimsuit was revealed in France to a shocked and titillated crowd. During the summer of 1946, today’s very popular two-piece swimsuit was simultaneously created and named by two French fashion designers. While both designers produced a similar product, it would be Louis Reard’s invention (christened the “bikini” after the famed Bikini Reef) that would become the world’s official smallest bathing suit. At its debut, the bikini produced quite a stir in both France and the larger world. Because it was so much more revealing than its swimsuit predecessors, Reard was unable to find a French model who was willing to showcase the swimsuit. Out of desperation, he was forced to hire Micheline Bernardini, a Parisian woman with a history of nude dancing. read more….

Tips for Choosing the Perfect baby Name
How important is it to find the right name? While your baby's name is how he will be identified for the rest of his life, it doesn't define his identity. Some names do seem to have stereotypes about the type of person that has such a name (like Barbie being associated with a beautiful blond, or Myron with nerds), but these associations will not create that trait in your child. You should find a name that you like and feel positive about.
You should also consider your family history when deciding on a name. Does your family have any traditions that you wish to follow, such as naming the first born male after the paternal grandfather? You can also look further back in your family tree to find a name. Or just choose a name from your ethnic or cultural heritage. If you have to use a family name that you really aren't happy with, then consider using it as a middle name or as just an initial. read more….
